Perhaps you have a conference room that could make a fine listening environment. Or possibly you already have a listening room, but it isn't working well for you. Stroud Audio uses science and skilled listening to develop either room into a room that can provide an enveloping and rewarding musical experience.

The scientific Approach to Great Sound

SAI will visit your company's site and understand your goals and constraints. We then evaluate noise issues and then test the room's modal characteristics. Techniques we will use in the design process include:

• Noise suppresion and isolation
• Modal correction as needed
• Ray tracing to determine where surface treatment is needed
• Equalization and loudness adjustments
• Ambience support

Your Listening Room Equipment

Stroud Audio can select and install speakers, amplifiers and other equipment for your room. We can also incorporate your company's audio products into the design and optimize the acoustic presentation of those components.

Scope of Listening Room Design Services

This service is for companies who want a great listening enviornment for employees or customers. Our primary customer is one needing a room conversion or improvments to an existing listening room.

SAI is not in a position to recommend visual design elements, but will work with your designer. Our experience would not include designing an elaborate, expensive facility with custom trims, etc.

But given a conference room conversion or a not-so-great listening room to improve (there are many), or even a brand new location to develop, we can and will build you a listening system that sounds so good that you won't want to leave it.
